Is your website getting noticed like a herd of thundering elephants?
Are you getting the traffic you expect?
Are you getting the leads, clients, customers, and sales that you deserve?
No?
Do you feel like your website has been exiled to the internet wilderness?
Yes?
Then it’s time to rescue your website from the internet oblivion, and get it front and center so people take notice.
It’s time for Operation Elephant Thunder.
What is Operation Elephant Thunder?
If a herd of elephants was thundering by, everybody would notice. Nothing quiet about it.
Your website should be noticed. You should be getting the traffic, leads, clients, customers, and sales that you expect and deserve.
With Operation Elephant Thunder, we’ll get your website noticed in three easy steps. First, we’ll find out why your website isn’t working like you expect it to. Second, we’ll develop and implement a plan to get your website performing like it should. Third, we’ll add some extras so your website will get noticed.
#1 Website Content Audit: Finding out why your website isn’t working
The first step is the Website Content Audit. I will analyze the content of your website, as it appears to the normal visitor. Then I will compare it to my 84-point checklist of best website content practices.
Then based on my findings, I will write up a 12-15 page report, with screenshots of your website, detailing your website’s strengths and opportunities for improvement. For more information, on my website content audit service, click here.
#2 Website update: getting your website working again
The second step is improving the content on your website. Based on my findings in the Website Content Audit report, I will either tweak, update, or rewrite the content on your website.
If the content on your website is very good, you may just need to tweak some of the content, like including more keywords or keyphrases so you can rank higher in search engine results like Google, fix broken links, or add descriptions and/or captions to any pictures or graphics, or any number of other things my report suggests.
Or maybe the content on your website is old and outdated. It needs to be updated to reflect new trends or data in your industry or business. Or maybe it just needs additional copy to emphasize the benefits of your products and services and how you can best meet the needs and wants of your customers and clients.
Or maybe the content on your website is poor. In that case it needs to be totally rewritten, so it is simple, clear, interesting, and persuasive, with clear calls to action.
Content is king. Probably the biggest reason your website isn’t working as it should is because of the written content. Once you improve the content, your website should be working much better.

#3 Blogs and newsletters: Keeping customers informed
The third step to getting your website noticed and increasing traffic is through blogs and newsletters.
Writing blog posts on a regular basis helps your website to rank in search engine results, establishes you as an authority in your field, increases traffic to your website, and gets you more leads, clients, customers and sales.
Newsletters help you keep connected to your customers and other interested parties. Newsletters can cover a wide range of topics like keeping customers informed about new trends in your industry, new products and services you’re offering, tips and tricks on using your products and services, and how your products and services can solve certain problems.
